Google rank checker.
Enter your domain and a keyword. The tool runs a live Google search, reads the first three pages of results (the top 30) and tells you your exact position, the page you are on and who ranks above you.
How to use the Google Rank Checker
- Type your domain, for example example.com, and the keyword you want to rank for.
- Choose the country whose Google results you want to see.
- Read your position, the page it is on and the results above yours.
Good to know
The search is neutral and logged out, as if from a new browser in the country you pick. Your own results can differ because Google personalises them by city, device and search history, so treat the number as a reliable reference and not as what every person sees. Results are kept for a few hours, so repeating a check soon after shows the same answer.
Questions about this tool
It runs a live Google search for your keyword in the country you choose, reads the first 30 organic results (three pages) and looks for your domain in them. If your domain or one of its subdomains appears, you get its position.
Google personalises results by location, device and past searches. The checker uses a neutral, logged-out search so that anyone can reproduce it, which makes it a steady reference even if it differs from your own screen.
Your domain did not appear in the first 30 organic results for that keyword in that country. That is common for new sites and competitive keywords. Try a more specific phrase, or check again after you publish or improve the page.
Google no longer returns 100 results in one request, so every extra page of results is a separate search. The checker reads the first three pages, which is where a site starts to matter. Below that it tells you plainly that you are not there yet.
The highest-ranking page of your domain, including subdomains. If several of your pages rank, the best one is shown.
Once a week is enough for most sites. Rankings move daily, and checking more often mostly shows noise. Look at the trend, and pair it with Google Search Console, which shows the average position from real searches.
